Today I test the school internet speed test when all of my friend were working on the internet.

My plan in 10 years time

What will you be doing in 10 years time?

In ten years time I'll be 21 years old and I want to take my college in America ( not sure ) and I will took business class. I also want to work in my free time, like when I don't have any schedule I could work in a restaurant or I could give lesson to the youth. I choose business class because I wanted to be a business woman. I wanted to know how to trade and other things that are connected to business. 

Why are you interested in that?

I am interested to be a business woman because I was impresed with my parents who were sucessful people, they never give up and they were hard-working people and I wanted to be just like both of them.

How do you plan to make that happen?

I will start working really hard from now on. I will study from my mistakes and will never repeated again. I will start reading books about important things, not only novels like High School Musical. I also wanted to learn a lot of language so that I can easilly communicate with other people who speaks different languages.

How can the teachers help you with it?

My teachers can help me by teaching me a lot about business. They also can help me to be a good communicator and teach me all different kinds of languages.

Where will you be in 20 years time?

In 20 years time I will be 31 and I want to finish my master degree. I will be married and have children. I would like to be a sucessful business woman and have a good husband.

Greece

I learned that Ancient Greece doesn't know sugar so they used honey to sweetened the food. They also didn't used beef or pork for them to eat daily. They only used beef and pork to eat in some religious festivals.

I also learned that Apollo is the god of songs and poetries. One of the god of Ancient Greece lived in the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt.

Woman and gentleman have different kinds of games. For woman they have juggling balls. They play it until it gets faster and faster. For the gentleman they have hockey they play it naked so the woman are not allowed to watch them play hockey.

Ancient Greece writings are not that hard. They don't really have all the 26 letters that we had in our letter. For my name they didn't have letter c so I just use the letter c that we used.

Egypt

I learned that Egyptians cover the death body with oils twice before they wrapped it. Before that they also washed the death body in the Nile river. And they took 40 days to dry the death body before they wrapped it.

I also learned that the Egyptians writing has two picture for most of the letter that we had and they are all easy to write. To write my name is very easy. For the letters that has two writing in Egyptians they has were different. For example M there is one that is a picture of an owl and the other one was lines connected together.

I learned that Egyptians people cut the left side of the death body and took four parts of the body it was the liver, the stomach, the intestine, and the lower parts of the body and then they put the body parts in four different jars for each part. They also tied up the nails so that it wouldn't get of the finger.

 

What did I Know About Charlie Bucket

Charlie Bucket has 2 parents and 4 grandparents. They lived in a small house. The house actually doesn't fit a lot of person, and life was so hard for them all. There were only 2 rooms and 1 bed in their house. They give the bed to Charlie's grandparents, because they were so old. Mr Bucket, Mrs Bucket and Charlie slept on the other room, on the mattresses on the floor. They can't buy a larger or better house because they were very poor. They only ate cabbage soup everyday, not more than that. Grandpa Joe one of Charlie's grandparent use to work in the biggest Chocolate Factory in the world

Karyawisata Menuju Bengkel Kayu

Tadi pagi kira-kira pukul 10.15, kelas 5 berangkat dari sekolah menuju ke bengkel kayu untuk belajar bagaimana caranya untuk memotong kayu dengan baik, mengukur tebal dan panjangnya kayu, mengamplas kayu, dan banyak lagi.

Pertama kali kayunya kasar dan bentuknya miring-miring. Lalu kita menyerutnya dengan mesin serut untuk membuang kulit kayu yang kasar. Setelah di serut kayu menjadi warna ungu dan tidak terlalu kasar. Kayu menjadi warna ungu karena itu adalah hatinya kayu, setiap kayu pasti mempunyai hati." Hatinya kayu adalah tipe kayu yang bagus!" kata tukang kayu yang bekerja di bengkel kayu itu. Setelah itu kami mengamplas kayunya lagi agar bisa menjadi lebih lembut. Habis itu kami mengukur kayu yang akan kami potong dengan meteran, lalu kami menandainya dengan kulusut, dan kami potong dengan gergaji manual.

Sesudah itu kami memotong kayu dengan model yang diinginkan. Lalu diwarnai. Jadi deh!

Billy Cart Day

Today January 17, 2008 the grade 5 started to make the Billy Cart. Some of our parents and some carpenters came to our school to help us make our Billy Cart. We were very excited and a bit dissapointed because we can't cut the wood into the shape that we wanted. Actually we wanted to do everything to make our Billy Cart.

Today Andrew's and Ristia's Billy Cart has been made. First the two wheel in the back were 360 degree and the two wheels in the front were straight, but it doesn't work well. So, we change the 360 into the front and the straight one into the back. It doesn't work well too. Then we change all of the wheels into the straight one and it work really well. One of the parent try to ride on it.

Today I learned how to screw the wheel to the wood. We used the big screw and some nuts to put the wheel in the wood. I learned that if we joined some piece of wood together is not really good because when you ride on it, it could break into pieces.

A: Because she dress differently and she joined the race that a girl never joined before.

A: They are organizing for the race.

A: Because Jess doesn't want Leslie to sit beside him.

A: Because now Leslie was the fastest runner in the fifth grade.

A: Because she don't have any television at her house.

A: I don't have any secret place that me and my friend go.

A: It was Janice Avery.

15. What plan of action do they decide on to pay back Janice Avery?

A: They decided to write a fake love note to Janice Avery from Willard Hughes.

My piano report

Piano was a type of simple machine. It was lever. The lever was the piano keys. Levers help you move the items that are heavy. Piano was a very popular instrument. Most people used piano for their performances.

Bartolomeo Cristofori invented the piano. It was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori around 1720 in Padua, Italy.

The word piano came from pianoforte. Most of the width of the piano was 150 centimeter. Piano is mostly used in western music. I think piano was an interesting intrument because of the way it works. It was very unique.
